I always liked this drawing but I thought it could use a little bit more to really make it work. I punched up the contrast, changed the color slightly, resized it and gave it a frame. I think it really works now. Then again, I'm stupid.
Here's the excerpt from the last one:
Agrat Bhat Malat is a character from one of my comic series. She's the Angel of Prostitution, one of the three wives of Azazel along with Lilith. I tried to combine modern elements with more ancient motifs.
First off, those straps on the back as if for a corset are remarkable and amazing and such a great idea, beautifully drawn.
I didn't see the original, wherever it is, but I'm glad I saw this.
The featherless wings and that aura with the symbols is just fantastic, you have drawn this so well.
I love the face and I fav'd the original. If I'd done it again, though, I'd have put a bit more detail on the piercings, maybe a bit of light shining on the edges of the rings, for example. Still, it's absolutely great. Good work! Hope to see more things like this in the future!
Also, I'm not sure the lowest piercing on the back of the neck rings true, no pun intended. I think it's either too big or too wide, and doesn't really look like metal. I'd advise reworking the neck piercings particularly or removing them. They all look a bit wide to me, to come to think of it, and I don't know if there needs to be a line down the middle of them. Also you could show a bit of a gleam on the ball finals. Just my opinion, and only a small thing that could make a brilliant pic much better. I really like the whispy surround, by the way- how did you do that?
That's gorgeous - really love her pose and design - her back looks beautiful, what with the laces and the things at her shoulder blades *nod* Gorgey hair too.
