Just trying to match the title to her face. It's Rose, but I changed the color/style of her hair to a red exposed nape thing. Different look, same tricks.
Experimented with coloring pencil work in APS- No reference. Working without reference for anatomy and color takes a lot longer but you learn just as much, in my opinion. Used a lot more linework, so it looks kinda granular and texturely in the shadows. I don't know if those are words...
