Description

Wow, illustration work! Yes, I'm a nub at it.

One of my illustrations for Draconomicon, which came out on the 18th.

A red and blue dragon sizing up one another amidst dusky mountain tops. This image takes about 1/3rd of the page size, not too big.

I once had a scenario where my party had an encounter with a blue dragon, as obvious the blue beast tried to murder us but luckily none of us got hurt. Eventually, we met again, but he was in some kind of bad spot, (very long story). A bard insisted we save the blue dragon from those bad guys, so we did. The blue dragon kept his word that they share a common enemy and they work together to stop their common rival. And they did. The blue dragon was true to his word, we helped each other, he spares us in return. Then, we often encounter the same blue dragon, and his code of honor was so strong that he's completely true to his word. He's many things, but a liar isn't one of them. He would often assist us especially when the danger we face is extremely inevitable. That blue dragon is both lawful evil and lawful neutral at the same time.

Another scenario, that art above. When those 2 mean dragons encounter one another, the red dragon knew about the blue dragon's story about how he helped my party and called him weak and spineless for his soft spot for the 'lesser folk', (us). While the blue dragon justifies his actions, so this is where the fight began. Dang, they're evenly matched, only for eventually the red one getting an upper hand, but the blue one however has better brains so he eventually managed to beat his opponent. But not killing him. The red dragon swore revenge though. The rest is a very long story.
