Dune - Chani costumes by Gorrem Dune - Chani costumes by Gorrem
One of my character designs for Dune. I wanted to portray both her youth and strength in her physique. her hair is decorated with water rings, and she wears her krys knife on her belt when she's equipped with her stillsuit. The blue wrap is a reference to her future sainthood. This is her as she was in the first Dune novel, so she's like 16 or something close to that.

This is the first of my designs, expect some of the rest of the cast soon.

Great portrayal of Chani.  It's nice to see someone pay attention to her description in the books.  Elfin features, red hair, although, to be fair, her hair color wasn't mentioned until Children of Dune.

Really nice, though I think the still suit would be slightly more bulky. After all it does contain water filter and catch system. Other than that little bit of critique I find the art quite appealing.

This is amazing work and I love the design, but her water tokens look like they might clink together, which is specifically spoken about in the book as a no-no. Other than that one little nitpick though, great job!
