Description
St. Alia Atreides at age 17. I imagine somewhere between Children and Messiah when she is beginning to adopt her role as a religious figure among the Fremen.
I wanted it to be a sort of classic portraiture of her, which I rendered first, and then I later thought it would be cool to frame her with a window shaped like a rising sandworm.
If you're wondering why she is so colorful, it is because my readings of Herbert's Dune has always used color very symbolically and very vividly to describe clothes.

One of the best visual interpreter's of the Duniverse. Frank Herbert would've totally been proud of these wonderful creations. All of Gorrem's Dune art perfectly captures the essence of Arrakis and it's colorful characters.
