This is my rendition of a tengu, a type of Japanese forest spirit, done in the style of a woodblock print. The writing is actually my name in scribbly Chinese, it's really only there for aesthetic value. Drawn, colored and rendered in photoshop, including the patterns.

I'd be terrified if that thing jumped out at me while i was in the forest (not sure why i would be in the forest in the first place...) wonderful details, you captured the style wonderfully!

nice use of patterns and I really dig the linework. I never knew what the deal was with those guys, but i see them every now and then in games or comics, heheh. Very cool rendition
