+ 1 for girls. come ooon, gals. we'll get this! ^.^ (yee, i know it's not about winning.. harhar)
btw. i'm still digging your style so much..trying to practice in a similar style. but it's kind of hard to break out of my standard routine.. (even if it's not the best i currently have lol.. somehow not that efficient..) aaaaw. love your work again and again.
I don't really know what my style is when people say that but thank you, haha. Seems like it's pretty even but I'd say girls are winning! If it wasn't a contest before IT IS NOW, welcome to the THUNDERDOME!!!
I think a huge part of the image that women aren't on the internet is the idea that many people assume others are male. They don't necessarily ask, they simply assume. And they're either not corrected because it doesn't come up, or the women sometimes let the assumption go. I've done that before, especially in games. Not often, but sometimes, because I've also sometimes had some really negative experiences after telling people in games that I'm female. Experiences that wouldn't have come up if I had just continued to let the others assume I was male.
Actually that has changed in the past couple of years to being more or less equal in terms of general internet activities and then art and gaming. Look it up! I'm personally very glad that girls have finally accepted these things without being shy or implying stupid traditional morals about gender. Cheers!
